Construction Site for Documentation Center

Anyone traveling in Neustadt near the Kremper Tor will encounter a full closure on Haakengraben Street since mid-February: A construction site has been set up next to the zeiTTor Museum. The row house (framed in the photo) will be demolished in the summer of 2026. In its place, the Cap-Arcona Documentation Center will be established according to the designs by Pysall Architects from Berlin, who won the architecture competition in 2025.
